Career coaching for tech, finance and business roles

You are not underqualified.
Your search is underbuilt.

Youth unemployment in Canada is the highest it has been in fifteen years outside the pandemic, and the junior roles that used to absorb graduates are the ones being automated first. Applying harder into that is not a plan. This is.

No card details. Nothing sold on the call.

Why career coaching

Four things you
cannot do for yourself.

Not because you are not capable. Because each one needs information you do not have access to from where you are standing.

01

You cannot read your own resume cold

You know what you meant. A recruiter gets six seconds and no context, and reads only what is on the page. That gap is invisible from the inside, and it is the single most common reason a strong candidate never gets a first call.

02

A rejection never tells you why

Two hundred applications and not one of them returns a usable signal. Without a reason you cannot correct anything, so the second hundred repeats the mistakes of the first. Somebody has to tell you which specific thing is filtering you out.

03

The market changed and the advice did not

Most careers advice still describes a market where a good CV and persistence were enough. Screening is now automated, junior roles are thinning, and the rules that decide who reaches a human are not published anywhere.

04

Effort is not the input you are short of

Almost everyone who books a call has already done the work: the spreadsheet, the weekends, the two hundred applications. More of that will not fix a search that is built wrong. Structure will.

The search is not broken where you think it is.

Almost everyone who comes to us has already done the work. Two hundred applications, a spreadsheet, weekends included. What nobody has done is tell them which specific thing is filtering them out, because a rejection email never says.

It is almost always one of three things. All three are fixable in weeks. None of them are fixed by applying more.

01

The roles do not match the evidence

You are applying to a title you can do rather than one your resume proves you have done. A recruiter reading for six seconds is pattern matching against the posting, not reconstructing your potential.

02

The resume lists duties, not results

Responsible for vendor management tells a reader nothing. Renegotiated fourteen contracts and cut spend by a fifth tells them what you will do for them.

03

Nothing is happening outside the apply button

The single most crowded channel that exists, competed in against people who are also being introduced through a quieter one. This is the big one, and the least intuitive.

Why Job School

Advice from inside the hiring, not about it.

Job School is the coaching arm of a recruitment company. The people telling you why your profile is not converting are the same people screening candidates against live client mandates that week. Most career coaching is a description of hiring written from the outside. This is not.

We coach three kinds of career, and nothing else.

Because a recruiter who places finance analysts cannot usefully advise a backend engineer, and pretending otherwise is exactly how generic coaching fails.

01

Technology

Technology candidates are screened with a coding assessment and a technical panel before anyone sees them. We coach with that in mind rather than against a keyword checklist, because the panel is where the offer is actually won or lost.

02

Finance

Accounting, analysis, audit support and transactional finance, where format and credential recognition decide the shortlist.

03

Business development,
sales and operations

Inside and field sales, account management, customer success, and the operations functions that hire on evidence of results.

Three ways in. Pick one on the call, not now.

Nothing here is sold on a checkout button. We would rather spend fifteen minutes working out what you actually need than take $350 from somebody who needed the $25 one.

Inside the Job Accelerator

Twelve days, five phases,
each ending in something you own.

Not a library of videos you work through at your own pace. A fixed structure with an end date, run alongside the coaching and the applications.

  1. Days 1-2

    Career Story and Targeting

Decide what you are aiming at, then build a short career story you can reuse everywhere.

  2. Days 3-4

    Fix Your Resume

Most resumes are rejected before a person reads them. Fix the format, then fix the bullets.

  3. Days 5-6

    LinkedIn Positioning

Make your profile say the same thing as your resume, then make it findable by recruiters.

  4. Days 7-9

    AI Job Search System

Build a repeatable workflow so finding and applying to relevant roles takes minutes, not evenings.

  5. Days 10-12

    Interview Preparation

Practise the questions you will actually be asked, using the STAR structure and your real experience.

What comes out of each phase →

The resume rewrite and Interview Pro are single pieces of this. The Accelerator is all of it.

The AI job search engine

Their side of the table already uses AI. Now yours does.

Employers have run parsing, matching and first-pass filtering automatically for years. The candidate has been left doing it by hand, one form at a time, retyping the resume they just uploaded.

The Accelerator includes our AI job search engine. It finds roles that match your target and your evidence, and applies with a resume rewritten for each one rather than the same file sent two hundred times. You review everything it does. It runs while you sleep, and it does not get demoralized on a Thursday.

What it does not do is decide anything on your behalf. Every application it sends is one you would have sent, written better and sooner.

01

Finds the roles

Including the ones posted under titles you would never have searched for.

02

Rewrites for each one

A resume tuned to that posting, not a single file sprayed everywhere.

03

Applies, and logs it

Every application tracked, so follow-ups stop falling through.

04

You review everything

Nothing goes out that you cannot see. The judgement stays yours.

Whichever one you pick, this is the shape of it.

01

Book fifteen minutes

Pick a slot. No form marathon and no payment details.

02

We look at your actual profile

Your resume, the roles you are targeting, what you have tried and what came back.

03

We tell you what you need

One, two or three of the programs, and the reason for each. If none of them fit you, we say that too.

04

You decide, then we start

You confirm, you pay, and the work begins. Nothing is charged before that point.

Before you book.

The questions that actually stop people, answered without the sales layer.

What happens on the free call?

Fifteen minutes. We look at your resume and the roles you are targeting, and tell you which specific thing is stopping you. Then we recommend one, two or three of the programs, or tell you that none of them fit. Nothing is charged on the call and no card details are taken.

Do I have to buy something afterwards?

No. Plenty of people take the call, hear what is wrong, and go and fix it themselves. That is a legitimate outcome and we would rather that than sell you the wrong program.

Can you guarantee me a job?

No, and nobody honestly can. Hiring decisions belong to employers. What we control is whether your search is built properly and run properly, which is the part that is actually within reach.

Is the resume rewrite done by AI?

No. A person reads your resume and rewrites it. AI can tidy grammar, but it cannot make your experience sound credible and specific to you, and generic phrasing is exactly what gets filtered out.

How fast is the rewrite?

Within 48 hours of you submitting your details and your current resume.

What if I am not happy with it?

Email us within seven days and we redo it, no questions asked.

Does paying for coaching get me placed through your agency?

No, and this is worth being blunt about. Job School coaches individuals. Envisionists, the recruitment company behind it, works for employers and is paid by them. Buying coaching does not put you into a client mandate, and anybody who tells you otherwise is selling you something they cannot deliver.

Which countries is the coaching for?

The United States and Canada, priced in US dollars. India is served by a separate Job School site. Our recruitment desk covers more markets than the coaching does, so if you found us through a job posting elsewhere, that is why.

Fifteen minutes, no cost, no pitch deck.

Bring your resume and the role you actually want. You will leave the call knowing which specific thing is stopping you, whether or not you ever buy anything.
